Organisation

In the organisational departement we are responsible for the (co-)organisation of major ÖH events and cross-departmental projects. This includes a variety of events and initiatives that we carefully plan and execute to provide unforgettable experiences for students of the University of Klagenfurt.

We organize internal events such as the annual Christmas party and support other departments and study representatives in the implementation of projects by providing our organizational resources and know-how. Our focus: a comprehensive and smooth organization that takes into account both the interests of the students and the objectives of the ÖH.

At the beginning of the semester, we take care of the filling and dispensing of the “Ersti-Sacklerl” (welcome gift with important information and useful utensils for the start of your studies) as part of the “Welcome Days”. Every year we organize the mulled wine stand and the “ÖHütte” right in front of the main entrance of the university.

At this event you can network with other students in a pleasant atmosphere and let a challenging day of lectures and seminars end in a relaxed way. Another important task of ours is the coordination of the ÖH living room. A cozy space where you can meet with other students to learn, discuss and relax.

In addition, we actively participate in problem-solving processes and processes of quality assurance of ÖH activities. We analyse existing structures and processes and look for opportunities for improvement in order to optimise the flow of information within the ÖH and facilitate collaboration. And we take care of the documentation, archiving and evaluation of ÖH projects and events in order to capture experiences and insights for future activities.
