Queer and alternative relationships

As a departement for queer and alternative life relationships, we are committed to breaking down heteronormative thought patterns and social norms at the University of Klagenfurt. Our goal is to promote acceptance for all people and ways of life – on campus and beyond by raising awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues.

We are actively committed to designing inclusive spaces and events at the University of Klagenfurt that support the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community. We see ourselves as a central point of contact for the establishment of networks to relevant organizations, associations and institutions throughout Carinthia. Our work aims to create an open, inclusive environment for ALL.

Through a variety of activities such as film nights, workshops, discussion sessions, parties and exhibitions, we offer a wide platform for meetings, stimulating exchanges and information. With these different events, we celebrate diversity and enhance the sense of community.

In an open dialogue, we reflect and explore different points of view and new perspectives in order to make a valuable contribution to raising awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues. We invite you to become part of our wonderful community and actively stand with us for a more inclusive society!
