Informations about the programme

Bachelor Programme

Academic degree: Bachelor of Science (BSc)

The Bachelor’s programme in Information Technology is divided into two fields of study, whereby you must choose one of the two: Engineering and Industrial Engineering.

The field of study Engineering is used for scientific vocational training and qualification for activities in the design and operation of modern information and communication technologies, which require the application of scientific knowledge and methods. The study programme provides you with both solid theoretical foundations and practical methods, so that you can actively participate in the design of new technologies of the future.

In the field of study industrial engineering, you will also learn how to successfully implement technical innovations economically. In addition to the majors in the field of study engineering – electronics, signals and systems, measurement and control technology, computer and network technology as well as computer science and software development – there are also the fundamentals of economics such as marketing, production and logistics, accounting as well as human resources management and management.

A bachelor’s degree in information technology opens up excellent career prospects, whether as a developer of technical systems or as a software developer. With the Industrial Engineering program, you act as an irreplaceable interface between business and technology and have the opportunity to realize your own ideas for electronic devices.

Master programme

Academic degree: Master of Science (MSc)

In the two-year master’s programme in Information and Communications Engineering, you will further develop your knowledge from the bachelor’s programme. The Master’s programme is internationally oriented, so all courses are offered in English.
