Bachelor Programme
Are you equally interested in economic and legal issues? In the Bachelor’s degree program in Economics and Law, you move in economic departments such as accounting, controlling and business management and additionally in the department of law. You will become a versatile expert in commercial law who is confident in dealing with contracts and understands the jargon of all legal professions. This combination makes you a valuable key person in business management.
The main areas of study include not only economic disciplines such as taxation, economics and corporate finance, but also legal aspects such as private law, labour and social law, corporate law and public law.
Upon successful completion, a wide range of professional fields are open to you. Among other things, you can work in controlling and finance, work as a tax consultant or legal expert in companies or found your own start-up.
Master Programme
The Master’s programme in Economics and Law provides you with scientific and practical knowledge from two professional worlds. You will gain specific know-how in business law and can additionally specialise your knowledge in subjects of economics and law. Thanks to this special combination of two different areas of expertise, you are well equipped to successfully meet the diverse challenges in an ever-changing business environment.
You will find the best career prospects in the banking and financial services sector, in management consulting, financial administration, public administration as well as in non-profit organizations and public companies. And if you aspire to a career as a lawyer or judge after your studies, the Master’s programme in Economics and Law opens the door to legal careers.
