Informations about the programme

Bachelor programme

Academic degree: Bachelor of Arts (BA)

Do you want to support people in their development? In the Bachelor of Education and Educational Sciences you deal with the educational experiences of people and analyse and design pedagogical processes.

In the course of study, different focus areas are addressed. In addition to theoretical foundations on education, development and socialization, you will learn about the history of education as well as pedagogical theories of action. Aspects such as society and education, gender, interculturality and internationality as well as pedagogical professional fields are also discussed. You will complete an internship of 450 hours. In this way, you will gain insights into a wide variety of pedagogical activities.

After completing your bachelor’s degree, you can work as a supervisor in social education institutions. You will also have the opportunity to gain a professional foothold in the field of adult, continuing and vocational education. Or you work as a human resources manager in companies where you support employees in their further development.
