Do you have a keen sense when it comes to global marketing of products and services? In the English-language Bachelor’s programme International Business and Economics (IBEC), you will learn everything you need: Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, Controlling, Marketing and Advertising, Human Resources and Organisational Management and more.

You will get a sound theoretical foundation based on the latest scientific knowledge. At the same time, you will be introduced to all the practical tools relevant to your career, whether you want to work in a start-up, an existing company or in the public sector.

The best thing about studying International Business and Economics: You learn from professionals from practice. Around 40 percent of the speakers are respected practitioners from the industry. In this way, you will gain real insights into the global economic world and at the same time have the opportunity to complete an internship with international cooperation partners of the University of Klagenfurt.

Upon successful completion of your studies, you will have a wide range of versatile skills that will enable you to work in a variety of professional fields worldwide. These include areas such as controlling and finance, international economics, innovation management, human resources development, marketing and advertising, as well as production management and logistics. In addition, you will have career paths in the areas of HR, leadership and organisation as well as energy and sustainability. Or: you start your own start-up company with an innovative idea.

After successfully completing the bachelor’s degree, you can deepen your knowledge in the English-language master programme in International Management (MSc).
